Last minute instructions if you intend to start:-
No open toe shoes
A black felt tip pen (fine or medium)
A piece of rag
Glasses if you wear them, safety glasses if you have them, some money.
All the following have been produced in class courses or workshops and/or
done at home after the leadlight bug had taken a bite.
Mosaic, foil & leadlight classes are all 3 hours, workshop time is also available.
Tools are supplied; all you have to pay for is the materials (glass, solder, lead etc.)
The class fee $30.00.
You can join in any time and you are not charged a huge upfront fee.
Mosaics are often the third project but it is advisable to learn how to cut glass first which is why we start with a simple technique and project followed by the steeper learning curve of cutting glass for foil (Total time approx 6 classes) It is then an open house - anything goes including mosaic work for which you will have the skills of doing the work below and much more.
